One spectrum, eleven other ways of seeing it
Each edition borrows the grammar of a different graphic tradition and gives it a real job: the ridgelines of a radio-astronomy plot, the coiled bars of a 1900 data portrait, the overprinting inks of a risograph, the hatching of an engineering drawing, the repeated figures of Isotype, the routes of a metro map, a Hilbert fold, a periodic table, a radio dial, Tufte’s small multiples and a Mondrian measured in hertz. Every mark is still drawn from the NTIA table. Hover to read any part of a sheet; click to open it in the atlas.
